Wyoming carry status overview
Wyoming is a permitless carry state. SF 47, effective July 1, 2011, allows any person who is legally eligible to possess a firearm to carry concealed without a license. The minimum age was 21 until HB 96 lowered it to 18, effective July 1, 2026. Open carry is broadly permitted.
